The title and edition of a book correspond to an ISBN number which is represented by a barcode that is usually on the back of the book
Different copies are identified with a trigram (a series of 3 capital letters like ABC)
This trigram is given by the system when the book is first recorded in the application; you then need to write it on the book next to the ISBN code.
The easiest way is to use the Android app downloadable here (iOS app coming soon) since phones allow you to scan ISBN numbers instead of typing them in.
The content of this application will be all the more relevant as it is used by many people. Encourage other readers to use Bookandfriends by tagging your books and inserting the downloadable explanatory text below.
